The name Stone Capital Partners reflects both strength and resilience. It was inspired by the Greek myth of Sisyphus, who was condemned to push a boulder uphill for eternity. Too often, business can feel the same way: constant effort without meaningful progress. Our logo represents a different story. With the right structure, strategy, and people, pushing the boulder is no longer endless suffering. It becomes forward motion, momentum, and growth.

The word “Partners” is just as important. We are not advisors shouting from the sidelines or making calls from the cheap seats. Stone Capital Partners was founded by Mya Stone, a human capital strategist and advisor with more than a decade of HR consulting experience. She is SHRM-SCP certified, a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Mya has guided owners, investors, and leadership teams through growth, transition, and turnaround situations, advising companies that range from entrepreneurial firms to multi-state operations with hundreds of employees.

Scaling beyond HR, Mya has direct experience in investment banking, roll-ups, and private equity. This blend of human capital expertise and transaction knowledge gives her a unique perspective on how people strategies create value and reduce risk in deals.

Having spent years inside the world of professional services, she knows there is a need for something better. Businesses require more than compliance and surface-level policies. They need strategies that unlock growth, protect value, and build resilience. Known for her ability to bring clarity to complex situations, Mya helps leaders turn people into a true competitive advantage.
